BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team moves back into non-conference play against Monmouth College in Monmouth, Ill. on Tuesday, Sept. 16. First serve is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. at Monmouth Tennis Stadium.
In IWU's last match at Augustana College, the Vikings won 4-3, dropping the Titans to 2-2 on the season, and 0-2 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action. The Green and White earned victories from freshman Elana Religioso (Mahomet, Ill. - Mahomet), who posted scores of 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 6 singles bout. Junior
Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) followed with a 6-0, 6-4 victory at No. 4 singles. Freshman
Adia Douglas (Flossmoor, Ill. - Homewood-Flossmoor) triumphed, 6-4, 6-2 at five singles.
Last year, the Titans defeated the Fighting Scots 6-1. They swept the doubles slate to secure the one point advantage. Then-sophomores Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) and Bell took the win at No. 1 doubles, defeating MC's top duo, 6-3.

Gabi Lipske (Gurnee, Ill.-Mundelein) defeated the Fighting Scots at No. 2 doubles, taking a 6-0 win. In the No. 3 doubles spot, the then-freshmen duo of
Katie Van Heuklon (Normal, Ill.-Normal West) and
Angela Zatloka (Justice, Ill.-Argo Community) won 6-3.
In singles play, Lipske, Van Heuklon, Bell, Christian, and then-sophomore Carly Edwards (Metamora, Ill. - Metamora Township) racked up wins for the Titans.
The Fighting Scots sit at 0-5 in 2025. They most recently dropped a 7-0 decision to Lake Forest College on Saturday, Sept. 13, falling to 0-1 in Midwest Conference action.
