PENFIELD, N.Y. - At the midpoint of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship, the fifth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team leads the field by a two-stroke margin. The Titans carded a 305 on the par-72, 6770-yard Cobblestone Creek Country Club course Wednesday, May 21.

Senior Griffin Pohl (Western Springs, Ill.-Lyons Township) carded IWU's best round of the day, finishing two-over, to climb into fourth-place at 145. Junior Aidan Healy (New Lenox, Ill.-Lincoln-Way West) put together a round of four-over par, highlighted by an eagle on hole No. 6, to jump 37 spots on the player leaderboard. Healy currently sits tied for 63rd with a two-round score of 153.

Juniors Juney Bai (Mokena, Ill.-Lincoln-Way Central) and Michael Spitzer (Hinsdale, Ill.-Hinsdale Central) are also inside the top-50. Bai, who carded a six-over 78, holds a share of 18th-place (148), while Spitzer is slotted 45th (151).

Illinois Wesleyan holds a two-stroke lead over 15th-ranked Kenyon and No. 9 Huntingdon, which are tied for second at 21-over par. No. 11 Carnegie Mellon holds fourth at 22-over, while Aurora rounds out the top-five at 24-over par. Bethel's Will Karkoc tops the player leaderboard as the lone individual in the field to card back-to-back rounds of par-or-better. Karkoc sits at six-under, 138, good for a three-stroke lead on the 225-player leaderboard.

With the field down to 18 teams after the cut, the final two rounds of the tournament will be played solely at Midvale Country Club. Tee times are scheduled to get underway at 9 a.m., with the Titans kicking off third round action with Quinn Clifford at 10:39 a.m. ET
