NEW ORLEANS – Days after the NCAA Division III Track and Field Indoor Championships concluded, the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Association released its full list of First and Second Team All-American honorees, Monday, March 17. The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams saw three Titans land on the list as junior Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) was named a First Team All-American while freshman Nick Walker (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora) and sophomore Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) earned second team distinction.

With his eighth-place finish in the men's 400-meter, Lowder earned the third All-American honor of his career, and marks his second time on the first team in the 400m. The junior clocked a 48.59 time in Saturday's final of the championships. Lowder previously earned second team accolades at last year's indoor championship in the event before making the podium in the outdoor 400m. Lowder earned his qualifying spot at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Final Qualifier with a 48.04 second time that broke his own school record.

Walker claims the first All-American honor of his young career after placing 12th in the men's high jump at the championships. The freshman matched his career-best of 2.05m (6'8.75") in his NCAA debut to earn second team honors. Walker's 2.05m jump ties for third in program laurels.

Ogunribido claims her third All-American honor, as she was named to the second team after a 10th-place finish in the women's high jump at the national championships with a 12.08m (39'7.75") jump. Ogunribido earned second team honors at last year's indoor championship and was a first team honoree outdoors. Ogunribido had a phenomenal start to the season, breaking her own school record twice back in late January.

The Titans now look to the outdoor season that kicks off Saturday, March 29 with a pair of meets, the Redbird Challenge at Illinois State University and the Millikin Big Blue Alumni Invite at Millikin University.
