NEW ORLEANS – The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams picked up five United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Indoor All-Region honors as four Titans earned the distinction. The organization announced the honorees Wednesday afternoon, March 12.

In order to be eligible for the award, individuals must rank in their region's top-five in an event or be a part of a top-three ranked relay team.

Junior Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) secured all-region recognition in two events as he owns the top mark in the 400m in the Midwest Region (48.04) while also posting the fourth-fastest 200m time in the region (21.95). Lowder's 400m time ranks fifth nationally.

Sophomore Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) claims all-region honors as she holds the second-best mark in the women's triple jump at 12.28m (40'3.50") while also ranking fifth in Division III this season.

Freshman Nick Walker (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora) earns the first all-region nod of his career in the men's high jump. The freshman's 2.05m (6'8.75") mark is good for third in the Midwest Region and ranks tied for 12th nationally.

Joining Walker on the all-region list in the high jump is sophomore Matt Lindberg (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) whose 2.04m (6'8.25") sits just behind Walker, ranking fourth regionally.

Lowder, Ogunribido, and Walker, along with senior Carlyssa King (Decatur, Ill.-Maroa-Forsyth) will represent the Green and White in Rochester, N.Y. for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday-Saturday, March 14-15.
