ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's wrestling team split in the Augustana Triangular, Tuesday Dec. 2, against College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foes Augustana College and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. In their first dual of the day, the Titans fell to the Vikings 40-5. The lone IWU win came from freshman Jillian Giller (Wilmette, Ill. - New Trier), who earned her eighth pin of the year in a victory over Lanie Cicala. 

Against MSOE, freshman Leslie Guzman (Fort Worth, Texas. - South Hills) won via a forfeit. Joining Guzman in the win column were freshmen Simone Dyer (Chicago, Ill. - Whitney Young), Alila Beck (Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington), Giller and Jessica Stover (Plainfield, Ill. - Oswego East). The Titans improve to 2-6 in dual meets. They are back in action, Saturday Dec. 14 at the North Central Invite. Action from Naperville is scheduled for 9 a.m.
