Women’s Wrestling Opens December Slate at Augustana and MSOE

This marks the program’s first ever CCIW road dual

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's wrestling team continues College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin competition, Tuesday, Dec 2 against Augustana College and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Action in Rock Island is slated for 4 p.m.

IWU most recently competed at the Eight Woman Battles in Eau Claire, Wis. where the Titans had six wrestlers place including freshman Angel Hill (San Diego, Calif. - Mira Mesa), who earned runner-up honors at 207 pounds.

The Green and White sit at 1-5 on the season in dual meets, most recently falling to then-ranked No. 4 North Central, Nov 17. The Vikings are 1-1 in dual competition. They narrowly defeated Elmhurst 23-21, Nov 18 before dropping their most recent competition to North Central 44-2, Nov 26. This will be the first meet of the season for MSOE and the first-ever CCIW dual after they joined the conference prior to this season.
