GREENWOOD, Ind. - Six members of Illinois Wesleyan University women's teams were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large team Tuesday, June 24, announced by the organization. Golf saw all five of its lineup earn the accolade, while women's lacrosse landed one.

Sophomore Sarah Riepe (Aurora, Ill.-St. Francis) represented lacrosse on the list, earning the academic honor for the first time in her career. Golf seniors Emma Thorman (Macomb, Ill.-Macomb) and Lexi Onsrud (Normal, Ill.-University High), and juniors Macy Ludwig (Effingham, Ill.-St. Anthony), Jacque O'Neill (Harbor Springs, Mich.-Harbor Springs), and Jadyn Spinks (Bloomington, Ill.-University High) rounded out the Titans on the list. Onsrud leads the pack earning the award for the third time, followed by Thorman and Ludwig earning Academic All-District status for the second time, while O'Neill and Spinks reel in the award for the first time in their careers.

Onsrud, a two-time Academic All-America honoree, as well as Thorman and Ludwig, were selected to advance to the Academic All-America ballot.

Coming off a breakthrough sophomore season, Riepe, an elementary education major, earns the honor after helping lead the Titan defense during the 2024 season. A First Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honoree and the recipient of the team's Most Valuable Defensive Player award, Riepe appeared and started all 17 games for the Green and White. She finished second on the team with 44 ground balls, and third on the team in caused turnovers with 36. Her average of 2.12 caused turnovers per game ranks third in a single season in program history.

Majoring in health promotion and fitness management, Onsrud closed her illustrious collegiate career helping guide the Titans to a record-setting season. The recipient of the NCAA Elite 90TM award, Onsrud adds additional awards to an already lengthy resume. She garnered all-region honors for the third time in her career after compiling an average score of 75.9 in 26.5 rounds over 11 tournaments for the season. Onsrud finished in the top 20 in eight of the 11 tournaments with four top-five finishes, including a third-place finish at the CCIW Championship to earn her third All-CCIW accolade. She was the recipient of the CCIW Elite 26 award for the third straight season and finished off her collegiate career by posting the second-lowest 72-hole score at the NCAA Championship with a score of 301 to tie for 17th. Onsrud looks to collect her third Academic All-America honor, as she was a third team selection in 2022 and earned first team honors in 2023.

Thorman, the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Women's Golfer of the Year, led the Titans with an average of 74.9 strokes per round, a single-season program record, over 26.5 rounds and 11 tournaments. Majoring in secondary education and english-literature major, Thorman posted six top-five finishes, eight top-10 placements, and secured a top-20 effort in 10 of 11 events in her final season for IWU. She garnered All-American status with a program-best third place finish at the NCAA Championship, posting a 72 hole score of 293, the best by any Titan all-time. Thorman also earned Women's Golf Coaches Association All-America honorable mention, all-region for the third time in her career, and was the CCIW Championship medalist to collect her third All-CCIW honor.

A marketing major, Ludwig was named to the Academic All-District team after posting an average of 76.4 strokes per round, a career-best, in 26.5 rounds and 11 tournaments. She placed in the top five in three tournaments and posted a top-10 finish in five tournaments. Ludwig was a two-time CCIW Golfer of the Week honoree. She topped the 114-player field at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, April 13-14, with a two-day score of three-under 141 (67-74) to set the program's 18 and 36-hole scoring records. Ludwig finished her junior campaign with a tie for 58th at the NCAA Championship. Ludwig earned WGCA All-Region honors for the second straight season.

Majoring in business with a minor in finance, O'Neill collects her first Academic All-District honor after a strong junior season. Playing in 26.5 rounds and 11 tournaments, O'Neill posted a career-best average of 78.5 strokes per round for the season. She posted six top-20 finishes, including three seventh-place performances. O'Neill earned All-CCIW honors for the second straight season after finishing ninth at the league championship. She finished her junior season tied for 43rd at the NCAA Championship with a score of 310, the third-best 72 hole score in program history.

A psychology major with a minor in health, Spinks rounds out the Titans on the list with her first career Academic All-District nod. Spinks played in 26.5 rounds and 11 tournaments, posting a career-best average of 78.7 strokes per round en route to six top-20 finishes. She was the runner-up at the CCIW Championship to earn her second All-CCIW honor and concluded her junior campaign by placing 69th at the NCAA Championship with a career-low 72 hole score of 326.
