CSCAA Press Release

RICHMOND, Va. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were chosen by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams. The men's team boasted a 3.74 fall semester GPA, while the women's team earned a 3.43 to earn the distinction.

Within the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, IWU was one of three institutions to receive the award for both men's and women's squads alongside Augustana and Carroll. Wheaton and Carthage were noted on the men's side and Millikin and North Central made the list for their women's teams. IWU's men garnered the highest GPA out of all CCIW teams on the list and the women took a steady third place spot in the CCIW with their combined GPA.

Illinois Wesleyan was one of 783 teams, from 461 institutions to earn the award. The CSCAA awards programs who earned a minimum team GPA of 3.0 for the fall semester.

This is the seventh time since the 2011-12 season that both the men and women were selected as a Scholar All-American team in the fall. Additionally, this is the women's eighth time and the men's seventh time on the list for the fall semester.

The Titans next meet is at the CCIW Swim & Dive Championship in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. from Feb. 21st - 25th.
