NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Sophomore Kaden Junge (Mattoon, Ill.-Mattoon) of the Illinois Wesleyan University football team was recognized as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Special Teams Player of the Week Monday afternoon, Nov. 4. It is the first weekly award of Junge's career, while he is the fourth selection of the year for the Titans.

Junge turned in another great performance for Illinois Wesleyan, this time leading the Titans to a 29-21 victory over Augustana, Nov. 2, alongside long snapper Zach Hansen and holder Ryan Saxe. Junge went a perfect 2-for-2 in PATs, while adding three field goals. He also kicked off seven times for an average of 54.1 yards per kick with one touchback. Junge hit field goals of 27 and 34 yards in the first half to keep the Titans in the game, before his second 27-yarder gave IWU its first lead of the day, 15-14, in the third quarter. 

For the season, Junge is second in the CCIW and seventh nationally with a field goal percentage of 87.5 percent.

Junge and the Titans trek to Waukesha, Wis. for a clash with Carroll University. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
