BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University football team saw two student-athletes reel in three total selections on the D3football.com All-Region 5 team released Wednesday, Dec. 10. Sophomore Will Nazha (Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) earned second team status at wide receiver and returner, while junior Zach Hansen (Manteno, Ill.-Bishop McNamara) garnered a second team selection at long snapper.

Nazha, a First Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honoree, was one of the top receivers across Division III throughout 2025 while also playing a significant role on special teams. The sophomore hauled in team-highs of 71 catches and 918 receiving yards with seven touchdowns. Across the league, Nazha topped the CCIW in catches and was second in both receiving yards per game (91.8) and total receiving yards. He was one of the more feared return men throughout Division III for his ability to break through for big chunk returns. Nazha was one of seven nationally with multiple kickoffs returned for touchdowns this season and ranked second in the CCIW with an average of 28.8 yards per kickoff return. Overall, Nazha's 1498 all-purpose yards led the CCIW and were slotted 17th nationally.

Hansen, a steady component of Illinois Wesleyan's dynamic special teams group, is the first Titan long snapper to land on the list since the organization began awarding the honor in 2005. He played in all 10 games for the Green and White and contributed to a unit that ranked in the top half of the CCIW in punting and kicking while also playing a significant role in IWU's fake punt success.

Illinois Wesleyan went 4-6 overall in Jared Williamson's first year at the helm. The Titans will lose 11 seniors to graduation, while many key contributors are slated to return in 2026 including all three All-CCIW selections.
