SANDESTIN, Fla. - The No. 4 ranked Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team is tied for fifth after day two of the Golfweek October Classic in Sandestin, Fla. Monday, Oct. 14. The Titans carded a second round score of 287 on the par-71 6623 yard Raven Golf Club to sit fifth in team standings at 567. 

Junior Michael Spitzer (Hinsdale, Ill.-Hinsdale Central) recorded a four-under 67 on day two as he now ties for 19th at 141 in the player leaderboard. Senior Quinn Clifford (Chicago, Ill.-Brother Rice) also sits tied for 19th after carding a three-over 74 in round two action. 

Junior Aidan Healy (New Lenox, Ill.-Lincoln-Way West) was even par on day two moving him up to tie for 30th at 143.

No. 6 Washington and Lee took hold of the team leaderboard after posting a round two score of 268, bringing their total to 542 with one round to go. No. 21 Sewanee dropped into second with a total score of 552. 

Third round action continues tomorrow, Oct. 15. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat, while results will be posted to iwusports.com following the conclusion of the round.
