NORMAN, Okla. - Just over a month after leading the Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team at the NCAA Division III National Championship, Bobby Beaubien (Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) reeled in Golf Coaches Association of American PING Division III All-America Honorable Mention status the organization announced Tuesday, June 20. 

Beaubien, who played in 10 tournaments throughout the 2022-23 season, posted an average of 74.3 strokes per round over 27 rounds. He tallied five top-20 finishes, highlighted by four top-10 placements. He won the ONU Bill John Fall Invitational, Sept. 16-17, and later finished runner-up at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championship, May 4-6. Following his All-CCIW performance, Beaubien capped off his season with a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Championship, May 16-19. In all, he recorded eight rounds of par-or-better. 

Led by Beaubien, the Titans concluded the season tying for ninth at the NCAA Championship, last month. In all, IWU won six tournaments throughout the course of the season.
