ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Several members of the Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams made one final push to qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships Thursday evening, May 18, competing at Augustana's Midwest Twilight Last Chance Meet in Rock Island, Ill. 

Freshman Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) ended the night with a bang for the Titans, winning the 3000 meter steeplechase. The freshman phenom crossed the finish line with a personal-best time of 10:43.33 to win the race by more than two seconds. Crabtree's impressive time puts her in good position to qualify for nationals, as it ranks 10th-best in the country. Additionally, she is one of two freshmen ranked inside Division III's top-32 currently.

Junior Lauren Wong (Morton, Ill.-Morton) leaped her way to a distance of 11.66 meters. She placed seventh in the event. 

On the men's side, freshman Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) placed seventh in the 200 meter dash, clocking in with a team of 21.89.

The NCAA is set to release the field of national qualifiers across Division III tomorrow, May 19. The top-22 ranked student-athletes in each event will qualify for the national championship scheduled for May 25-27 in Rochester, N.Y.
