PEORIA, Ariz. - The spring season began at Westbrook Village Golf Club for the Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team Saturday, March 11, in Peoria, Ariz at the Westbrook Invite at the Lakes. The 16th-ranked Titans are tied for fourth amid a loaded field of ranked competition at the par-71, 5810-yard course.

Tournament host George Fox, which is ranked fifth nationally, leads the team standings at 293, with No. 10 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps three strokes back in second at 296. No. 1 Redlands sits third at 301, with IWU and No. 23 Trinity (Texas) tied for fourth at 307. Irene Jun of CMS leads the player leader board following a two-under 69.

Sophomore Jadyn Spinks (Bloomington, Ill.-University) paced the Titans with an opening round three-over, 74, and is tied for seventh. Junior Lexi Onsrud (Normal, Ill.-University High) is tied for 12th at five over (76) and sophomore Macy Ludwig (Effingham, Ill.-St. Anthony) is tied for 14th.
