Bowling Wraps Up Play at CCIW Illinois Faceoff

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University bowling team returned home after a two-year hiatus to host the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Illinois Faceoff, Saturday, Feb. 4 at Pheasant Lanes in Bloomington. The Titans squared off against Aurora University, Augustana College, Elmhurst University, and North Central College in four baker matches.

At the faceoff, IWU tallied an overall record of 1-3. The Green and White defeated Elmhurst by a total final of 883 to 881, with game scores of 180-144, 142-130, 201-147, 154-142, 138-133, and 127-126.

The Titans won one game against Aurora and two against Augustana in two of the team's setbacks.

The Green and White will head to Romeoville, Ill. to compete in the Flyer Classic, hosted by Lewis University. The three-day tournament is set for Friday-Sunday, Feb. 10-12.
