MONMOUTH, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team maneuvered past Monmouth College, 5-4, Tuesday, Oct. 3. With the win, the Titans improved their record to 4-4 overall. 

The freshman duo of Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) and Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) opened the match with an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. Freshman Carly Edwards (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora Township) and junior Andie Wilson (Champaign, Ill.-Centennial) secured the win at No. 3 doubles, winning 8-1. 

Ehrlich stayed hot, claiming victory with set scores of 6-2, 6-2, at No. 1 singles. Sophomore Raji More (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) picked up the win at No. 4 singles, winning her sets 7-6(5), 6-0, and Wilson secured the win for the Green and White at No. 6 singles, claiming her sets 6-0, 6-2. 

The Titans have a quick turnaround, as they host Elmhurst University for a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin clash tomorrow, Oct. 4. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Evergreen Racquet Club.
