Men’s Golf Sets Sights on NCAA Preview

2023 Championship will be played at site of IWU’s 2019 national championship

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The seventh-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team will return to a familiar course for its next tournament, Oct. 2-4, as the Green and White travel to Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky. The site of IWU's 2019 NCAA Division III National Championship will once again serve as the national championship course in 2023, with the upcoming tournament serving as the NCAA Division III Fall Preview.

Competing for the Titans will be sophomore Quinn Clifford (Chicago, Ill.-Brother Rice), freshman Juney Bai (Mokena, Ill.-Lincoln-Way Central), junior Bobby Beaubien (Barrington, Ill.-Barrington), sophomore Griffin Pohl (Western Springs, Ill.-Lyons Township), and freshman Jackson Hulsey (St. Charles, Ill.)

Illinois Wesleyan will be one of 18 teams competing at the preview that features 2022 NCAA Division III National Champion and top-ranked Methodist along with No. 20 Aurora, No. 18 Berry, No. 4 Carnegie Mellon, No. 2 Emory, No. 10 Hampden-Sydney, No. 14 Oglethorpe, Transylvania, No. 12 Washington and Lee, No. 6 Wittenberg, No. 16 NYU, No. 15 Greensboro, No. 3 Huntingdon, No. 11 Piedmont, No. 8 Sewanee, No. 13 Babson, and No. 9 Christopher Newport.
