SANDESTIN, Fla. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team wrapped up the fall season with a fifth-place finish at a loaded Division III Golfweek Fall Invitational Tuesday, Oct. 18, as the ninth-ranked Titans fired a 304 at the par-71, 6651-yard Raven Golf Club. The Green and White compiled a 54-hole total of 870 as two players finished inside the top-20.

Sophomore Quinn Clifford (Chicago, Ill.-Brother Rice) led the Titans as he finished tied for third. Clifford carded a final round two-under, 69, to finish two-under for the tournament at 212. Freshman Jackson Hulsey (St. Charles, Ill.) tied for 15th (71-67-79=217).

Emory topped the team standings with a three-day score of 859 (285-283-291), while Oglethorpe (288-281-295=864) and Huntingdon (284-285-297=866) closed out the top-three. Piedmont (287-292-290=869) edged IWU by one stroke for fourth. Oglethorpe's Michael O'Sullivan took home medalist honors, finishing six-under at 207.

Illinois Wesleyan's fall season came to a close with the three-day tournament in the sunshine state. IWU will return to action for the spring portion of its schedule in March.
