Men’s Golf Beats Big Blue in Battle for Rt. 51 Match Play

DECATUR, Ill. - The No. 1 ranked Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team toppled Millikin University, 9-2, in the Battle for Rt. 51 11 on 11 Match Play Sunday, Aug. 29.

Picking up wins for the Titans were Keegan Adamson (Manteno, Ill.-Bishop McNamara Catholic), Jack Bruening (Belleville, Ill.-Althoff Catholic), Griffin Pohl (Western Springs, Ill.-Lyons Township), Raj Sethi (Chandler, Ariz.-Arizona College Prep), Quinn Clifford (Chicago, Ill.-Brother Rice), Bobby Beaubien (Barrington, Ill.-Barrington), Carl Christiansen (Naperville, Ill.-Naperville North), Ethan Wilkins (Sussex, Wis.-Lake Country Lutheran), and Will Nummy (Winnetka, Ill.-New Trier).

Illinois Wesleyan heads to the Carthage Fall Classic Friday-Saturday, Sept. 10-11, at the Randall Oaks Golf Club.
