MILTON, N.Y. -
Former Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball standout Brady Rose (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) has been selected to compete in The Basketball Tournament as a member of the We Are D3 squad, the team announced by General Manager and Head Coach Michael Rejniak on "The Q-Cast" hosted by Bob Quillman, Monday, May 10.

Rose, who has been playing overseas since graduating from IWU in 2019, was a unanimous First Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin selection as a senior. That same season, he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III All-Central District Second Team, as well as the D3hoops.com All-Central Region Second Team.

As a senior he led IWU with a 21.1 scoring average and was the first IWU player to average 20+ points in two straight seasons since Jeff Kuehl in 1989 and 1990.

Rose had 85 three-pointers, third-most in an IWU season, and he ended his career ranked eighth in scoring (1,687 points) and field goals (593), fifth in 3-pointers (237), third in free throw percentage (.846), and 14th in career assists (287).

Rose and the rest of the We Are D3 team will open up play in July. More details can be found here.
