BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's track and field team concluded the 2021 indoor season ranked 10th in the USTFCCCA rating index, marking the eighth top-10 indoor finish in school history. The Titans finish the season as the top-ranked institution in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.
Individually, senior Ayana Blair (Wheeling, Ill.-Wheeling HS) finished the indoor season ranked third in the country in the weight throw (17.33m) and seventh in the shot put (13.69).
Fellow senior Katie North (Aurora, Ill.-Metea Valley) posted the fifth best time in the nation in the 5000m with a time of 17:34.98. Sophomore
Rebekah Harden's (Tinley Park, Ill.-Lincoln-Way North) time of 5:04.26 in the mile ranked 10th.
Sophomore Addison Bendery (Chicago, Ill.-Loyola Academy) finished with the seventh best time in the 200m (25.66) and the ninth best time in the 60m (7.77).
The team of Kelsey Wyman (Monmouth, Ill.-Monmouth-Roseville), Bendery,
Cora Wilkinson (Verona, Ill.-Seneca Township HS), and Harden posted the 10th best time in the country in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:01.09.
