Each Monday an Illinois Wesleyan University professor will be recognized as part of Most Valuable Professor Monday. Professors are chosen by the student-athlete with the top grade point average on each team.

Junior Cora Wilkinson (Verona, Ill.-Seneca Township) of the IWU women's track and field team selected Karen Bussone, Director of Small Business Development Center.

"Professor Bussone is a motivating and helpful professor to me and all of the students here at Illinois Wesleyan," Wilkinson said. "I would not be a successful student here at IWU if it wasn't for teachers like Professor Bussone that push students to their full potential."
