IWU's McGraw, Ehresman Earn Honorable Mention on WBCA All-American Squad

ATLANTA (March 15, 2018) – Illinois Wesleyan seniors Rebekah Ehresman and Molly McGraw were among 20 honorable mention selections for the 2018 WBCA NCAA Division III Coaches' All-America team, announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association tonight.

Chosen as the "Most Outstanding Player" in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, Ehresman averaged 10.9 points per game with team-highs of 5.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. Her 3.79 assist/turnover ratio ranked No. 2 in Division III and her 90 steals are the most in an IWU single-season while her 144 assists ranks second.
Ehresman finished her career at Illinois Wesleyan ranked No. 1 in program history in free throws made (330) and steals (296), No. 2 in assists (376) and No. 9 in scoring with 1,236 career points.

McGraw, who also earned honorable mention on the WBCA All-American team as a junior, led the team wth a 14.3 scoring average and ended her career as IWU's second leading scorer with 1,577 points. A first team all-CCIW selection for the second straight season, she also finished fifth in both career steals (174) and free throws (299), ninth with 51 blocked shots and 23rd with 186 assists.

Kate Kerrigan of Bowdoin College is the 2018 WBCA NCAA Division III Player of the Year as she leads the final-four bound Polar Bears in rebounds (6.8), assists (4.0) and steals (2.6) while averaging 10.7 points this season. She was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Year, NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-NESCAC. Joining her as first team WBCA Division III Coaches' All-Americans are:
