BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University women's basketball senior Ava Bardic (Lincolnshire, Ill.-Stevenson) added a second All-American honor to her resume Saturday, March 21, as she was included on D3hoops.com's postseason awards. Bardic was named to the D3hoops.com All-America Fourth Team in the organization's 29th year doling out awards.

The Lincolnshire, Ill. native is the eighth all-time D3hoops.com All-America selection in program history. She joins a list that includes Rebekah Ehersman (Honorable Mention - 2018), Lauren Huber (Third Team - 2025), Olivia Lett (Player of the Year & First Team - 2012), Christina Solari (Third Team - 2009 & Second Team 2010), and Kendall Sosa (Honorable Mention - 2020 & First Team - 2021).

A storied senior year saw Bardic assemble one of the great scoring campaigns in program history. She averaged 19.3 points per game and torched opponents for 561 points over the course of the season. Her total is third-most in a single season in program history, and sits 12th across Division III this year. A co-captain, she added 74 assists, 71 steals, and 14 blocks. She eclipsed 20 points in 16 games and led the team in scoring 19 times.

Bardic landed First Team All-Region 8 honors from D3hoops.com and was also a unanimous First Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin pick. A nominee for CCIW Player of the Year, Bardic earned the league's weekly award once. She played in the WBCA All-Star game in Salem, Va. Saturday, March 21.

Illinois Wesleyan put together a 23-6 season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Titans, who were ranked in the top-25 in both the D3hoops.com and WBCA polls regularly throughout the season, shared the CCIW regular season before claiming the tournament championship on the road.
