ATLANTA - Illinois Wesleyan University senior women's basketball standout Ava Bardic (Lincolnshire, Ill.-Stevenson) will represent the Titans at the Women's Basketball Coaches All-Star Game Saturday, March 21. It is the second straight year IWU has seen a student-athlete compete in the event.

The all-stars were chosen by a committee composed of head women's basketball coaches of NCAA Division III programs, all of whom are members of the WBCA. All players were nominated by WBCA member coaches.

Bardic put together an incredible season for the Green and White, topping the team with 19.3 points per game. A unanimous First Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin selection, she reeled in D3hoops.com First Team All-Region 8 honors and was a CCIW Player of the Week pick. She shot 45.6 percent from the floor and hit a team-high 58 three-pointers. Bardic added 74 assists, 71 steals, and 14 blocks.

The 20 all-stars are divided into two 10-member teams for the game. Anne Crutchfield, former head coach of Emory & Henry University in Emory, Virginia, and Adrienne Shibles, former head coach of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, will coach the teams.
