NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan senior kicker/punter
Andrew Iwaszkiewicz was selected as the "Special Teams Players of the Week" for football in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin on Monday, Oct. 31.
Iwaszkiewicz (Elmhurst, Illinois and York HS) kicked a 20-yard game-winning field goal with 11 seconds left during the Titans' 13-10 win over Elmhurst on Saturday. He also had a 29-yard field goal in the first quarter, was 1-for-1 on PATs and had eight punts for 294 yards (36.8-yard average) including three inside the Bluejays' 20-yard line.
A business (marketing) major at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Mary and John Iwaszkiewicz.
North Central freshman quarterback Broc Rutter and Carthage senior linebacker Greg Money were named the CCIW offensive and defensive "Players of the Week", resepctively, on Monday. Rutter matched the fifth-best single-game passing accuracy in school history during the Cardinals' 62-7 win over Carroll. He completed 17-of-20 passes for 180 yards, four touchdowns and engineered eight first half scoring drives to put North Central up 56-0 at halftime.
Money had a team-high seven tackles (five solo) and a safety during the Red Men's 50-28 win at Millikin. Money recorded the safety on the Big Blue's first possession when he met the Millikin running back in the hole to put Carthage up 9-0 in the first three minutes of the game.

During the 2015-16 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,600 academic all-conference recipients, 14 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 36 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and over 100 all-Americans.
