2015 Greenville College Invitational ResultsGREENVILLE, Ill. -- A limited number of Illinois Wesleyan track and field athletes competed in the 10-team Greenville College Invitational on Saturday, April 25, with the women placing sixth and the men finishing seventh.
In 20 events scored, the Illinois Wesleyan women collected 55 points. First place went to Maryville College with 208, followed by Webster (168) and Greenville (150) in the top three.
The Titan men had 52 points as first place went to Greenville College with 242 points. Lindenwood Belleville was second (165) and Maryville was third (148).
Freshman
Amelia Glueck was the winner of the long jump with a distance of 18 feet- 10 ½ inches and junior
Alyssa Henzel won the hammer throw with a toss of 128 feet-7 inches.
The IWU weight men claimed two first place finishes as junior
Max Leonard won the discus throw in 155 feet-6 inches and sophomore
Scott Mitchell got first in the shot put with a heave of 39 feet-10 ¾ inches.
