DES MOINES, Iowa -- A host of Illinois Wesleyan track and field athletes competed in the 2015 Drake Relays, held at Drake University Stadium on Friday, April 24.

The Illinois Wesleyan women's 4x100 relay team finished 16th and did not qualify for the finals. The squad of junior Angela Herrmann, freshman Amelia Glueck, senior Kristen Johnson, and junior Nia Joiner had a time of 48.24 seconds. The winning team from Lincoln (Mo.) had a time of 45.57 seconds.

The 4x400 women's relay team placed 15th in the College Division and did not advance to the finals. The team of sophomore Maddison Zimmer, Herrmann, Emily Diaz and senior Allie Boudreau turned in a season-best time of 3:49.99, currently the sixth best time in Division III in the 2015 season.
First place went to the team from Lincoln (Mo.) at 3:42.23.
 
The men's distance medley relay team finished fifth with a time of 10:12.08. The IWU team was comprised of Carl Anderson, senior Jeff Toraason, Tristan Fox, and Danny Krob.
Wayland Baptist won the event with a time of 10:03.03.

In the high jump, freshman Molly McGraw had a height of 5 feet-4 1/4 inches and tied for 20th. Central Missouri's Erika Kinsey took first in the high jump at 6 feet - 1/2 inches.

Senior Maddie Greybar placed 22nd and Boudreau was 25th in the University/College Division javelin throw. Greybar had a distance of 117 feet-3 inches and Boudreau was at 105 feet-9 inches. The event winner was two-time Olympian and American record holder Kara Winger with a throw of 193 feet-9 inches.
