2015 Washington U. Invitational ResultsST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's track and field team is in first place of 10 after day one (Friday, March 27) at the Washington U. Invitational, the 2015 season-opening outdoor track and field meet.
Titan athletes got first and second in two events. In the pole vault, sophomore
Jamie Gradishar was first at a height of 3.06 meters and senior
Meridith Beird was second at 2.91 meters. And in the javelin, senior
Allie Boudreau took first with a toss of 42.66 meters and senior
Maddie Greybar was second with 40.62 meters.
In the 5,000 meter run, junior
Erin McCarey was second in a time of 18:45.84 and senior
Kelsey Buerger was third with a run of 18:58.22. The winnign time was 18:35.31 by Lindsey Sayner of St. Francis (Ill.).
