Fighting Scots Indoor Track and Field Invitational Results

MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan men's team had two first place finishes and the women's team had five at the Monmouth Fighting Scots Indoor Track and Field Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14.
 
No team scores were kept in the 10-team meet.
 
Senior Jeff Toraason finished first in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.43 seconds and sophomore Eric Rydell won the high jump at a height of 6 feet-6 ¾ inches.
 
For the women, junior Nia Joiner won the 60 meter dash in 7.87 seconds and senior Allie Boudreau won the 400 in 58.20 seconds. Junior Jill Harmon won the 60 meter hurdles (9.15 seconds), sophomore Jamie Gradishar claimed the pole vault (12 feet-2 inches) and the 4x400 relay team of Emily Diaz, Liz Oltman, Angela Herrmann and Maddison Zimmer won with their time of 3:56.85.

Harmon topped her own school record as she finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 39 feet-3 inches, and Boudreau also got third in the 60 hurdles in 9.53 seconds and fifth in the long jump at 17 feet- 5 1/2 inches.
