BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The No. 15-ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team benefitted from an own goal in claiming a 2-1 win over Chapman (Calif.) on Sunday, Oct. 9, at IWU's Neis Field.
The Titans, who improved to 9-2-0, scored first when senior
Molly O'Brien got her 10th goal of the season at 31:11 on a shot from 20 yards out after an assist from sophomore

The Panthers (5-7-1) tied the score at 78:17 when Jun Camy scored her first goal of the year, unassisted, into the lower corner of an open goal.
Illinois Wesleyan got the game-winner little more than two minutes later, at 81:09, when
Lauren Knaack had a corner kick and the ball went into the net after ricocheting off the shoulder of Chapman keeper Rissa Andersen.
Andersen made eight saves in the match and IWU keeper
Renata Butikas made four. The Titans outshot the Panthers, 16-7, with 10 shots on goal.
Illinois Wesleyan's next action will be Wednesdsay at 7:30 p.m. at home against College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opponent Millikin.
