Illinois Wesleyan senior Kristen Piotrowski was named women's tennis "Player of the Week" in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin on Wednesday, Oct. 1 after her performance last weekend.

Piotrowski, playing at No. 3 singles, went undefeated over the weekend, winning both matches against CCIW competition. Piotrowski defeated Elmhurst's Stephanie Russ 6-0, 6-1, then defeated Wheaton's Brittany Dunn 6-3, 6-2.

As a team, the Titans defeated Elmhurst 6-3, but lost to Wheaton 8-1. She is the second Titan to earn the weekly honor this season after Cassie Devore earned the honor on Sept. 17.
