Senior Katie Bruins is a three-time softball letterwinner at Illinois Wesleyan and was co-captain of the 2012 team. She has a 14-5 career pitching record and struck out 13 Fontbonne batters in a game as a sophomore. In her first three seasons she also has four doubles, four homers and 22 runs batted in.
An accounting major at Illinois Wesleyan, she is the daughter of Tim and Jane Bruins of Ballwin, Mo.
