A preseason first team All-American in D3hoops.com, Christina Solari came into the 2009-10 season ranking No. 1 at IWU in field goal percentage (.618) and is No. 7 with 623 career rebounds.
In 2009, she was a third team D3hoops.com All-American and was College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin "Player of the Year". She set school season records in rebounds, steals, free throws made and free throws attempted. In 2008 she was IWU's co-"Most Valuable Player" and set a school game record for field goal percentage, making 10 of 11 (.909) in a 111-77 NCAA tourney win over Maryville (Mo.).
Majoring in political science at Illinois Wesleyan, Christina is the daughter of John and Sandy Solari and sister of teammate Karen Solari.
