Titan Table Talk - Season 4, Episode 2

Welcome back to Titan Table Talk! Each week we sit down with Illinois Wesleyan University coaches and student-athletes to hear their stories, reflections, and updates from around Titan athletics.

In the second episode of the academic year, head football coach Jared Williamson recaps their season-opening win at Albion and previews Saturday's senior day at home against Trine. Women's Volleyball capped off a 5-0 week including two ranked wins. Seniors Eleanor Palmer and Cailin Shannon recap the successful week.

Coach Williamson recaps their 24-10 win at Albion where IWU's defense had three interceptions. Offensively, senior quarterback Dermot Smyth eclipsed 50 passing touchdowns and junior wide receiver Will Nazha reached 1000 career receiving yards, leading the Titans to their first non-conference road win for the Titans in ten years. He also talks about the senior class ahead of the program's senior day celebration, Saturday, Sept. 12 at Tucci Stadium against Trine.

9:03 – Women's Volleyball Seniors Eleanor Palmer and Cailin Shannon
Palmer and Shannon recap their 5-0 week which included a sweep over No. 17 Hope and a win over 24th ranked Dubuque. Palmer led the team in blocks with 21 over the five matches while Shannon's five kills down the stretch separated the Titans from Hendrix in a three-set win last Saturday. They also look ahead to their first road trip to DePauw and Earlham this weekend.
