KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- United Soccer Coaches announced Friday morning Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer as a College Team Academic Award winner, recognizing the program for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. Programs must achieve a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. IWU was one of 175 schools to have both its men's and women's programs recognized.

The Titans were one of five College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin men's programs to earn the honor, alongside Carthage, North Central, North Park, and Wheaton. The team posted a 3.65 GPA, the highest of the four conference schools. Illinois Wesleyan is also one of three CCIW schools to have both their men's and women's programs recognized, alongside North Central and Wheaton.

Illinois Wesleyan will open their 2026 regular season against Illinois College in Springfield at England Stadium with kickoff at 6:30 p.m.
