BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team reentered the D3hoops.com Top-25 in the first poll of the new year released Monday night, Jan. 5. The Titans earned 166 points to rank 18th.
The Green and White stands 10-3 on the year and even at 2-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. The Titans notched wins over WashU, Yeshiva, Hamilton, and Carroll since the last poll to reclaim a spot in the top-25.
Trinity (Conn.) topped the poll with 24 first-place votes and 617 points. Randolph-Macon, which earned the lone other top-spot nod, tallied 611 points in second. Emory (543), Chicago (522), and Mount Union (505) rounded out the top-five.
Illinois Wesleyan hosts Augustana College Wednesday, Jan. 7. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. inside the Shirk Center.
