Titan Table Talk - Season 3, Episode 13

Welcome back to Titan Table Talk! Each week we sit down with Illinois Wesleyan coaches and student-athletes to hear their stories, reflections, and updates from around Titan athletics. 

Matt Sosler opens the show with assistant men's basketball coach Andy Etheridge and senior David Williams following the Titans' 2-0 week with wins over College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foes Augustana College and North Park University. Director of Swimming and Diving Dan Lloyd and senior Jay Jenkins follow to discuss their holiday training trip and home meets to begin the 2026 portion of the season. With the men's volleyball season beginning this week, head coach Brandon Mueller joins the show to preview the campaign. Following their win over North Park and ahead of their rivalry showdown at home against Millikin, head women's basketball coach Mia Smith and senior Sawyer White wrap up the show.

Coach Etheridge and Williams recap their last week of play with wins over Augustana and North Park along with how the team has performed over their five-game win streak beginning with their win over No. 4 WashU. They also preview their upcoming CCIW slate.

9:19 –  Director of Swimming and Diving Dan Lloyd and Senior Jay Jenkins
Coach Lloyd and Jenkins dissect their meet against Rose-Hulman along with their holiday trip to Arizona. They also discuss the program's accomplishments both in and out of the pool along with a preview of their tri-meet against Millikin and Illinois College, Friday, Jan. 16.

21:14 –  Head Men's Volleyball Coach Brandon Mueller
Coach Mueller previews the season with four matches on the schedule over the next week. He also talks about the program's recruiting class and building off of a program-best 12 wins in 2025.

27:01 –  Head Women's Basketball Coach Mia Smith and Senior Sawyer White
Coach Smith and White recap the first few games of the calendar year which included multiple milestones and record-breaking performances. They also preview their upcoming contests at home against Millikin and on the road at Wheaton.
