KENOSHA, Wis. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team completed its time at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Invitational, where the Titans competed against their conference foes.

In the final round of the No. 7 singles flight round robin, freshman, Truman Raher (Peoria, Ill. - Richwoods) defeated Diego Alvarez of Carthage, 6-1, 1-6, 11-9. He concluded the weekend at 2-0. 

Freshman Will Ehrlich, (Springfield, Ill. - Glenwood) fell in his fifth place match to North Central's Matt Crossloand, 6-1, 6-1. Raher and sophomore Aidan Mulcahey (Pekin, Ill. - Pekin Community) fell to Payton Nelson and Diego Alvarez of Carthage, 8-4 in the final round of the 4th doubles round robin. The rest of IWU's singles and doubles slates concluded the weekend in eighth place.

The Titans continue their fall season at the ITA regional that begins on Sept. 26. Results will be posted on iwusports.com upon the completion of the match.
