Vigneri Claims All-Conference Honors

First recognition for the senior

CCIW RELEASE

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin released its 2026 men's tennis all-conference teams, Wednesday, April 29. Senior Ben Vigneri (Casper, Wyo.-Phillips Exeter) earned his first all-conference selection with second team recognition. 

In CCIW singles play, Vigneri went 4-2, collecting wins in his last four matches at the top singles spot for IWU. He also collected two doubles victories at No. 1 doubles alongside senior Ian Turnbull (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) and senior Griffin Hammond (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora). The senior also notched CCIW Player of the Week honors on March 10 and April 27. 

Junior Chase Tomecki (Downers Grove, Ill.-Downers Grove South) was IWU's recipient of the CCIW Respect Award.

Vigneri and the Titans wrapped up their season, Saturday, April 25. They graduate five players and are expected to return four student-athletes in the fall.
