Men’s Golf Earns GCAA Team Academic Award

One of 24 Division III programs to earn special recognition

NORMAN, Okla. - The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Awards on Tuesday, Aug. 5. The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team was one of 24 Division III programs to earn Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above.

Following a runner-up team finish at the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship, the Titans were as successful in the classroom, being just one of 129 programs across all divisions to earn Presidents Special Recognition honors. Illinois Wesleyan was the sole College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin program to earn the honor.

The Titans will start the 2025-26 regular season Sept. 8-9 in Kenosha, Wis. at the Carthage Invitational.
