Titans unveil Sikma Hall of Fame Invitational matchups

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - With the start of the academic year around the corner and the Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team back from its international trip, head coach Ron Rose released the team's 2025-26 schedule Thursday, Aug. 21. To view the full schedule, click here.

The 25-game schedule features two in-season tournaments, a 16-game College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin slate, and a trip to New York.

IWU will kick off the season as host of the Sikma Hall of Fame Invitational Friday-Saturday, Nov. 14-15. The Titans will play Illinois College, led by former Titan and 2006 Illinois Wesleyan graduate Steve Schweer, Friday night, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m., while UW-Oshkosh and Maryville (Tenn.) will tangle in the first contest of the tournament.

The Green and White will wrap up a three-game season-opening homestand against Chicago, as Nick Roper will make his return to the Shirk Center as a graduate student for the Maroons.

IWU will trek to Albion, Mich. the following weekend, Nov. 21-22. The Titans will square off with Wisconsin Lutheran Friday, Nov. 21, at 5 p.m. ET, before facing either Albion or Kenyon Saturday, Nov. 22.

After returning to the Shirk Center to clash with UW-Stout, Nov. 29, Illinois Wesleyan will hit the road for the entire month of December. The CCIW season will begin Wednesday, Dec. 3, with a rematch of last season's CCIW Tournament Championship as the Green and White travel to Carthage for the league opener. The month will also see IWU travel to North Central (Dec. 6), Elmhurst (Dec. 13), and WashU (Dec. 18) before jetting out to New York City, Dec. 29-31.

Illinois Wesleyan will take on Yeshiva, Dec. 29, and battle Hamilton in YU's Max Stern Athletic Center, Dec. 31.

The Titans will turn their attention to the remainder of the CCIW schedule as the calendar flips to the New Year. The CCIW Tournament will begin with the quarterfinals Tuesday, Feb. 24. The semifinal is set for Friday, Feb. 27, with the CCIW Tournament Championship on Saturday, Feb. 28.
