BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - After the most successful season in the five-year existence of the program, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team announced its team awards and letterwinners for the 2025 season at the annual banquet Wednesday night, April 23.

Headlining the winners was freshman Gavin Rohlwing (Tower Lake, Ill.-Barrington), who was named the team's Most Valuable Player. A Second Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honoree, becoming just the second Titan to earn all-conference honors, Rohlwing put on a spectacular freshman campaign. Appearing and starting in 20 matches, Rohlwing broke the program record for blocks in a single season, as he finished with 81. The freshman needed just 14 matches this season to break the previous record of 51. His average of 1.13 blocks per set led the CCIW and ranked seventh in Division III, as well as established a new single-season program record. The freshman finished third on the team in kills with 145, an average of 2.01 per set, and held an efficient .336 attack percentage. Rohlwing also tallied 27 digs, nine aces, and eight assists. Leading the team in blocks, Rohlwing also collected the team's "Brick Wall" award.

Freshmen Dylan McKeon (Chicago, Ill.-Saint Laurence) and Charlie Bialek (Bolingbrook, Ill.-Bolingbrook) were also recognized. McKeon was given the Most Improved Player award, while Bialek took home the Titan Strength honors for his dedication to the weight room.

Head Coach Brandon Mueller awarded letters to 15 student-athletes, 10 of which are set to return for the 2026 season.
