Top-Four Remains the Same as Women’s Hoops No. 2 in Latest Rankings

Titans hold 19-0 record

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - In a poll that saw its fair share of shakeup, the top-four remained unchanged as the Illinois Wesleyan University women's basketball team held at No. 2 in the D3hoops.com Top-25 released Monday night, Feb. 3. IWU garnered 587 points.

NYU (625), Illinois Wesleyan, Scranton (586), and Bowdoin (540) maintained their rankings at first through fourth, respectively, while UW-Oshkosh jumped Whitman to move into the top five. UWO garnered 495 points, while Whitman's sixth with 493 points.

Illinois Wesleyan picked up a 64-61 road win at Elmhurst University, Feb. 1, to improve to 19-0 overall and 10-0 in the conference. The Titans were one of two College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin programs to garner national status as Carroll University received votes in the poll.

IWU and Carroll will spar inside the Shirk Center Wednesday evening, Feb. 5. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
