NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's wrestling team wrapped up action at the North Central Invite, Saturday, Dec 13. 

Freshman Tyson Zvonar (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East) led the way at 133 pounds, going 3-2. He opened his day by defeating Anastacio Martinez of Concordia-Wisconsin for the second time in eight days, this time by a 12-3 major decision. He also pinned Tyler Tiangco of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and defeated Olivet's Trenden Bashore via a 4-2 decision.

Also picking up wins for the Titans were freshman 125 pounder's Dylan McGrew (Normal, Ill.-Normal West) and Brady Mouser (Bloomington, Ill.-Tri-Valley) along with freshman Silas Oberholtzer (Lake Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) at 157 pounds.

The Green and White wrap up the 2025 calendar year, Saturday, Dec 20 with a dual meet against Wheaton College. Action from Wheaton is scheduled for 2 pm.
