LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team finished its historic season inside the top-10 in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association Poll of the 2025 season, announced Tuesday, Dec. 9. The Titans checked in at No. 9 following an appearance in the NCAA tournament regional championship.

UW-Oshkosh, which captured the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball National Championship, closed out at No. 1, followed by NCAA Runner-Up La Verne. Berry, Trinity (Texas), and East Texas Baptist rounded out the top-five, respectively.

Illinois Wesleyan finished its season with an overall record of 28-3, the most wins in the Kim Nelson-Brown era, and most since the 1989 squad won 30. The Green and White, which hosted an NCAA Regional for just the second time, concluded its season in a five-set heartbreaker to Calvin University in the regional championship. It marks the third time the Titans have reached the regional final, and the first time in program history they have done so in back-to-back seasons. IWU also captured the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season and tournament championships for the second straight year, the first time the Titans have successfully defended the titles.

The Titans return 16 student-athletes from its historic squad for the 2026 season.
