BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swimming and diving teams notched two individual victories in a triangular meet against North Central College and Olivet Nazarene University Saturday, Nov. 8 inside Perry Center. Thirteen Titans notched career-bests as the Titans split duals on the day. The women defeated NCC, 131-53, while the men took down its conference foe, 77-22..

"I am extremely proud of the way we competed today, especially since we were swimming off events," Director of Swimming & Diving, Dan Lloyd said. "This was also a great opportunity to race on our conference time schedule with the early morning start. We did a great job of adapting to that in preparing for our races which will be extremely beneficial at the end of the year which is our main focus."

In the men's 200-yard medley relay, the team of Jay Jenkins (Aurora, Ill.-West Aurora), Ben Huk (Des Plaines, Ill.-Maine West), Jacob Nacional (Bolingbrook, Ill.-Bolingbrook), and Tate Thomas (Joliet, Ill.-Joliet West) earned a third place finish, touching with a time of 1:41.50.
