CCIW Announces Women’s Bowling Preseason Coaches Poll

Titans slated seventh in preseason poll

NAPERVILLE, Ill.- The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin released its 2025-2026 preseason coaches poll for women's bowling Friday, Oct. 2. The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team garnered six points slotting seventh in the seven-team league. 

Marian College will begin its CCIW title defense, as the Sabres accumulated 33 points good enough for first place atop the poll. Marian's three first-place votes is the same as Carroll University, who finished second in the poll, three points shy of the Sabres with 30 points. 

Aurora University was slotted third with 26 points and Carthage College in fourth with 19. Elmhurst University rounded out the top five with 18 points and one first-place vote. Augustana finished one slot ahead of the Titans in sixth place with 15 points. 

This season marks the sixth season of Titan Bowling with the first season coming in 2020-2021. Illinois Wesleyan is set to hit the lanes Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 11-12 at the Columbia 300 Shootout in Indianapolis, Ind.
