BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swim and dive teams start a two-meet homestand this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17-18. On Friday, the Titans will host a triangular with Illinois College and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Millikin University. Saturday will see the Green and White celebrate senior day before competing with Illinois Institute of Technology and CCIW foe Carthage College.

IWU last competed against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Jan. 11, where the Titans were defeated on both the men's and women's sides. Titan senior Carter Dilger (Sellersburg, Ind.-Jeffersonville), along with juniors Natalie Porter (Danville, Ill.-Danville), and Kayleigh Kuschewski (Batavia, Ill.-Batavia) followed by freshmen trio Isabella Cano (River Grove, Ill.-East Leyden), Ben Huk (Des Plaines, Ill.-Maine West), and Jacob Nacional (Bolingbrook, Ill.-Bolingbrook) all saw individual crowns during the meet.

IWU and MU have met 14 times prior to this Friday's meeting. The Titan men carry a 13-1 series record into the meet while the women hold a 14-0 advantage over the Big Blue, marking the highest win total against an opponent for both IWU programs. The Titans have only met with Illinois College two times prior to Friday, but have a perfect 2-0 record on both sides.

The Titans will honor three seniors ahead of Saturday's competition, Emily Marks (Cary, Ill.-Cary Grove), Colin McKibben (Green Oaks, Ill.-Libertyville), and Alexa Starkey (Normal, Ill.-Normal Community West). IWU has seen Carthage earlier this season at the Carthage Classic, Dec. 5-7. CC placed first on the men's side while IWU placed seventh. On the women's side, the Firebirds took second as the Green and White placed sixth. The men see an 0-6 overall record to IIT, meanwhile, the women have a flawless 6-0 record against the Hawks.

Friday's meet starts at 6 p.m. with a 1 p.m. start on Saturday. Senior Day festivities will prelude the meet at 12:50 p.m.
