United Soccer Coaches Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team was awarded the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award, announced by the organization Thursday, August 1. Men's soccer received an overall grade point average of 3.48. 

A total of 405 soccer teams, 168 of which were men, posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2023-24 academic year. IWU is one of 102 schools that had both its men's and women's programs recognized. 

Illinois Wesleyan was one of three College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin institutions to earn the recognition on the men's side. North Central College and Wheaton College also received the award.
